Day ride on 19Dec21 along with my friend Vijay covering the circuit of BhairasagaraLake_GudibandeFort_SabannahalliLake_Bhoganandishwara Temple.

We left bangalore around 5.30AM and rode to Bhairasagara Lake which is huge and wonderful lake. Then we visited Gudibande fort and you have to trek for 1 Hour to reach the peak, there is lord Shiva temple on the top of the hill.

Sabannahalli lake is one the beautiful scenic lake to ride through and one can find good photogenic spots around.

Finally we reached Bhoganandhishwara Temple. It is a 1000 year old temple that bears the architectural stamps of around five different dynasties that ruled here. Believed to have been originally constructed by the Bana Queen Ratnavali, this temple was added to and extended by the Ganga dynasty, Cholas, Hoysalas, Pallavas and finally the Vijayanagara kings. It is located at a distance of 54 km from Bangalore and at the bottom of Nandi Hills. Its worth a visit.
